Ever since I received Jesus as Lord (around 1965) the Lord has impressed upon
me a strong desire to pray. I was too young and ignorant to realize the importance and power of prayer ( I just
loved the Lord), and I didn't realize how much God wants us to pray! I'd just beam at the Lord and say "yes!,
sure...I'll pray... hugs n kisses... talk to you later." Yes well, the Lord'd had about enough of that and
in the late 70's brought me to terms with active prayer!
Simply put, be ye doers of the word and not hearers only! Prayer is a very real something
to do. In fact we'd best not "do" anything without prayer. The Spirit makes intercession for us and the
Lord puts things upon our heart... still, sometimes I have a heart ache and I just don't know what it is that the
Lord wants me to pray! Well! The LORD has given us the best solution! When we have a heart ache and "Oh Lord
<sigh>" just isn't enough we can pull out the outline which is sure to bring to light any need that
you, I , or our neighbor is facing....
The Lord's Prayer!
Our Father which art in heaven
Thank you Lord for Jesus' blood which covers us and we can call you Father! Abba Father. We love you Lord!
Hallowed be thy name
Blessed be the name of the Lord! We Praise your name! "From generation to generation, his mercy is on
them that fear Him!" Almighty most holy God, Thou art God. You are faithful through the ages. Amen
Thy Kingdom Come, Thy will be done in Earth as in heaven
Lord, you are Lord. We freely confess and receive your Lordship without contest. You are a gentleman, and though
you be Lord of all, in this hour, your kingdom is not observed here or there but is in the midst of us who gladly
receive you. The world cannot see your kingdom; and forgive us for supporting it's foolish selfish endeavors. We
are bought with a price. We alone understand that the works of this world are but refuse. Use us Lord ,and bless
us and make us a blessing in this lifetime in your kingdom. You are the light of the world! You in us and we in
you!
Give us this day our daily bread
Thank you Lord for your provision. Give us this day our needs for food and things of this life but most of
all give us the passage in the Bible that you want us to hear today! God bless us each and every one. You feed
all the birds in 10,000 forests and not a one falls off a branch without your attention. How much more you will
give us our needs for this life but most of all your word which shall not pass away! "Man does not live by
bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God." Thank you Lord! We praise your name!
Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors
Oh Lord, who deserves forgiveness? If anyone could deserve it you would and you don't need it. You first loved
us and for Christ's sake forgave us all trespasses. You are willing to forgive anyone who turns to you and to cleanse
us from sin. We are willing to forgive anyone and especially those who turn and ask for forgiveness. Deliver us
all from foolish and hurtful pride. We have all sinned and come short of the Glory of God. Thank you for your mercy
and forgiveness.
Lead us not into hard-testing
Lord ... however you do it... you are sovereign... and everything is in your hands. "Your tender mercies
are over all of your creation!" Let this cup pass from me, but nevertheless, not as I will, but your will
be done! We ask to know your presence in the midst of trouble and have our wits returned to us. Lord, the Angel
had to smite Peter to wake him up when he was in prison for your name! lol such peace in the midst of turmoil .
You can bless. Hallelujah! You have overcome the world! Concerning the flesh, you will not permit us to be tempted
above that we are able, but also with the temptation provide the way that we may escape. Lord help us to see that
way and to take it. Amen.
But deliver us from the evil one
Lord, you have overcome the world. You have overcome sin and death. You have given us authority over all the
power of the enemy. It is but our duty to do... we resist the devil and he flees from us. We give no place to the
devil. We have confessed and repented of any wickedness. You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us.
He has nothing in us. We are made the righteousness of God by Christ Jesus. Christ has redeemed us from the curse
of the law. The yoke is destroyed because of the anointing.
There's victory in Jesus! Our Savior Forever! Thank you Lord. Abba Father! Amen. God bless us each and every
one, Amen and amen. God bless all in Jesus Christ.
