First pure, then peaceable

James 3:16-18 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

Luke 2:8-14 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David aSaviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find thebabe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, to men of good will.

Matthew 2:13-15 And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him. When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt: And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.

> Is this Pure? Is this Peaceable? ...The Lord God Holy Child Jesus running off into Egypt!? The Son of Man did, Yes. God is not willing to just put down Herod's power, the powers that be are ordained of God and God created Herod as a man not a computerized robot. So that Holy Child Jesus and company actually had to circumnavigate the "natural" reactions of Herod's flesh (flee persecution), yet the heart of the Governor is in the hands of the Lord. See? ..it was God's will all along that Christ would come up out of Egypt. They meant it for evil, God meant it for good.
"How silently how silently the wondrous gift is given!" ahhh well... he was!! But so says he in Matthew 10 v34 "Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword." Amen. Still, That's pure and that's peaceable.
So , just because there's a lot of whoopla around an issue doesn't mean that it isn't God's will, the question is "is there peace at the center of the storm?" What's pure and peaceable in a world gone awry will often cause quite a storm.

>Heavenly Father blessed be your name! Thank you for your Peace. Thank you for you Word. Thank you for your blessings. Father help us to remain in your Peace! Thank you father, In Christ Amen
