Isaiah 54:17-55:7 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Why do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness. Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David. Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people. Behold, thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not, and nations that knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the LORD thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee. Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
>There is no use looking at one's flesh for the establishment of worthiness. It is the Lord's righteousness period. The voices rising in judgement against the children of God cannot prevail, they are at best writing their own manner of judgement. God will cause us to rise up and put down voices of condemnation, not because we have not sinned, but because he is God and made a covenant, even after the sure mercies of David and in the linage of David is the blood of the Lamb in the new covenant. He is faithful. >Oh Lord thank you for reminding us of your mercies and faithfulness even when we have given up on ourselves. Our confidence is bold because of your forgiveness and mercy. Glory to your name. God bless the ones that talk and act tough to be instructed in the word for when their time of testing comes. Send your laborers with the Good News and the bread of Life!, in Christ Amen. Thank you Father. |
