And straightway he called them

Mark 1:14 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent, and believe the gospel.
Now as he walked by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. And Jesus said unto them, Come after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men. And straightway they forsook their nets, and followed him. And when he had gone a little farther, he saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who also were in the ship mending their nets. And straightway he called them: and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired servants, and went after him.

>Jesus Called the Disciples and straightway they left all and followed Him. If we only view this in a modern mentality it could seem impulsive, but not so with God. In his calling there is never haste nor waste. The sons of Zebedee did not leave their father floundering without help, His needs were cared for by the hired servants. The commandment of God to Honour thy Mother and thy Father was not broken. Still, God's first commandment is thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength. In God's economy, there is a calling and provision offered for everyone. God is not willing that any should perish. Many are called, but few are chosen. So, who is chosen? Those who hear His call, leave all else, and follow!

>Hallelu Jah, blessed be the name of the Lord! Thank you Father for calling us, in Christ Amen. You first loved us. May what you want done be done, you supply for every need and for every good thing, by Christ Amen. You can do exceedingly abundantly above all that we can think or ask. Lord, bless us we pray, and make us a blessing to others, for your names sake, in Christ. Amen. Thank you Father. All glory be to you. All things work together for good to those who love you according to your purpose... God bless the preaching of the Good News! Amen.
