Luke 21:8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, "I am Christ"; and "the time draweth near": go ye not therefore after them. But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not yet. Mark 13:32-33 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. Luke 19:41-46 And when (Jesus) was come near, he beheld the city (Jerusalem), and wept over it,Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes. For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side, And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation. And he went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought; Saying unto them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves. Hebrews 9:26b but now once in the end of the world hath (Christ) appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. Romans 13:10-11 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.     And Jesus came to Nazareth where he had been brought up; and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day and stood up to read. And there was delivered unto him the scroll of the prophet, Isaiah. And when he had unrolled it, he found the place where it is written:         "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,           because he has anointed me           to preach the good news to the poor;           He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted,           to proclaim deliverance for the prisoners and           recovery of sight to the blind, to release the oppressed,           to proclaim the favorable year of the Lord." ( anno Domini or A.D.)     Then he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the minister and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.
