1 Kings 1:51-2:4 And it was told Solomon, saying, Behold, Adonijah feareth king Solomon:for, lo, he hath caught hold on the horns of the altar, saying, Let king Solomon swear unto me to day that he will not slay his servant with the sword. And Solomon said, If he will show himself a worthy man, there shall not an hair of him fall to the earth: but if wickedness shall be found in him, he shall die. So king Solomon sent, and they brought him down from the altar. And he came and bowed himself to king Solomon: and Solomon said unto him, Go to thine house.      Now the days of David drew nigh that he should die; and he charged Solomon his son, saying, I go the way of all the earth: be thou strong therefore, and show thyself a man; And keep the charge of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and his testimonies, as it is writtenin the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself: That the LORD may continue his word which he spake concerning me, saying, If thy children take heed to their way, to walk before me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul, there shall not fail thee (said he) a man on the throne of Israel. Romans 7:16-18 If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not... 7:24-25 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. Titus 3:.5-9 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration,and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men. But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, andcontentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain. Ephesians 2:8-10 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. 1 Thessalonians 5:24 Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it. >Father, we praise your Name. We put no confidence in our flesh, forgive and cleanse us from any hidden sins of things we have done and left undone and that we have yet not judged. Thank you for your mercy, you are greater than our hearts. We have received Jesus Christ and are cleansed by His blood. We are your workmanship created in Christ Jesus unto good works. If there be any twisted way in us, lord reprove it; we turn from it. Lord have your own way, You are faithful. Though no one else may see where you lead us, you illuminate our path with peace where to walk. Cause us to walk in the good works you have before ordained that we should walk in. Amen. Greater is he that is in us than he that is in the world. May your kingdom come, may your will be done in Earth as in Heaven! Thank you Father. Lord you have been doing this! Glory be to your name.
