Hebrews 5:4-5 And no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron. So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, today have I begotten thee. Hebrews|4:13-16 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. >God knows everything. God knows more than just the secrets of men, he knows what men do not even know about themselves. Our hearts. The Gig is up. Rather than worry about 'secret' sins, figure they were written on a blackboard in heaven and God is standing with the eraser in his right hand; Jesus Christ the Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world. So what's the catch? There is none. Yet you must believe and receive the truth about it and walk accordingly. Faith, confession and thanksgiving. Coming near unto God by faith. Don't try to be perfect first, that has no fellowship with heaven, because then you've taken it back into your hands on Earth. The eraser is in His hands, and the chalkboard was erased in heaven when we received Jesus. For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever is believing (lit trans) in Him may not perish but may have life everlasting. (Now, the Devil has a piece of chalk on a chain around his neck, always at the ready. Nevermind; we regard the blood of the Lamb) Thank you father. Thank you JESUS! |
