Mark|10:27 And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible. Sometimes our circumstances have no visible outlook of victory. Hebrews|11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Overheard: It's not the outlook, but the uplook! Jonah 2:6-10 I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me for ever: yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O LORD my God. When my soul fainted within me I remembered the LORD: and my prayer came in unto thee, into thine holy temple They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy. But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the LORD. And the LORD spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land. My soul has literally seen this state of remorse; only to see "the bars of the Earth about me for ever." There is no substitution for faith and calling upon the name of the Lord in that time. It is as if your life is suspended in an eternal state not remembering past victories and not seeing the future. But, Faith will believe in God's word. And Prayer will remind him of who he is and what he has said. And Love will ever prevail. He is merciful and forgiving, love will never fail. Jesus said "He that comes to me I will in no wise cast out" Someone once said, "hell can only keep those who would not turn to Jesus." e.g. The rich man just wants out, he still does not want a relationship with God. Father, thank you for your Love! We praise your name Just for who you are! Blessed be the name of the Lord. Be with us and let us be with you, today, and forever. Forgive our sins, through Jesus' blood. Bless heal and restore folks in the faith this Easter. Change us where needed and make us after your will. See us through any trials onto victory for your names' sake. In Christ, Amen. Thank you Lord! We praise your name!
