Jesus' Authority

1 Peter|1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time Wherein you greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, you are in heaviness through manifold temptations: That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: Whom having not seen, you love; in whom, though now you see him not, yet believing, you rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

John 6:26-29 Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, You seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled. Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed. Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we mightwork the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that you believe on him whom he hath sent.

" I believe Jesus is the Anointed one, the Son of God. Jesus' blood was shed for me. I believe you have raised Him from the dead."

1 Timothy|2:1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all,supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

>If someone is going to obey the word and pray for all in Authority, they would have to pray to Jesus. Now we see why it's called the work of God. Amen.
Is it easy to pray for the Authorities? well, Jesus said my yoke is easy, mu burden is light.
Is God bogged down in Red tape? No, He is only bound by His word.
Well, what is his word? Amen. Jesus is.
Today it is clear his word is to believe on Him whom he hath sent, give thanks for all in authority, and to pray. God is faithful too, if we pray for those in Authority he can move on behalf of what is best. If we just moan and complain about the authorities neither do they have what they MUST have by God's divine order (our prayer) but they have extra weight and baggage of our disobedient attitude. If they have our prayers, and we are obedient to God, and they still act against God's character, <sigh> we are not bound to be afraid, but rather to remain in Peace; but I've digressed. So, What are you trying to say Robert? Alas, It seems there are some people in the Church that think the authorities are bound to do our will. They are not, they are bound to do God's will. Always. God's Character towards men is moderation, compassion, longsuffering and mercy. Equity. Even forgiveness. Is that surprising? No, not to a son of God, because he already prays; even for His enemies. Amen.

Psalm 130:4 "But there is forgiveness with thee that thou mayest be feared."

>Lord I praise your name, thank you for your love, mercy, and many blessings. God bless all in Authority. God bless them with wisdom and I pray your will would be done.You are God. Amen. The Devil is bound, The Angels have their charge. Hallelu Jah. Amen.

Have a good day. Peace :) With Love in Christ, Robert.
