2 Corinthians 9:6-11 But this say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: (As it is written, He has dispersed abroad; he has given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever. Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;) Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God. >Praise the Lord, and thanks be to God for Jesus Christ! To him that hath shall more be given.... We have good things in the lord today. We are seed bearers with a good bag of seed. It could be money, but it could also be PRAYER! Itcould just be a loaf of Frendship Bread and a visit to someone who is going through tough time. Whatever it is we have, we have it because God has put it upon our heart to give! When I was a little boy, I had 'seed' to give to someone. I had set out to give to someone that had a lot and probably would not realy care for the gift I bore. That person was not home, so I looked to the Lord and ask him what to do? He immediately put it upon my heart to go visit a neighbor's maid with my treasure. I had so much peace about it, to God be the Glory. She was astonished and overawed with humility and blessing at the Gift. She never stopped thanking our family for years... If it had been money it would have been one thing, but this was a personal gift that spoke of worth and dignity that could not be measured in cash.... Glory to God. God will show us, if we just Ask! Lord help us to see the things we really have from you. And Help our hearts to see who needs it most. And most of all we pray they get it, for your names sake. In Jesus name, Amen God bless us each and every one. Amen. |
