At the office or at home, in public, or in solitide: 2Peter 1:1 Simeon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who did obtain a like precious faith with us in the righteousness of our God and Saviour Jesus Christ: 1:2 Grace to you, and peace be multiplied in the acknowledgement of God and of Jesus our Lord! 1:3 As all things to us His divine power (the things pertaining unto life and piety) hath given, through the acknowledgement of him who did call us through glory and worthiness, 1:4 through which to us the most great and precious promises have been given, that through these ye may become partakers of a divine nature, having escaped from the corruption in the world in desires. 1:5 And this same also -- all diligence having brought in besides, superadd in your faith the worthiness, and in the worthiness the knowledge, 1:6 and in the knowledge the temperance, and in the temperance the endurance, and in the endurance the piety, 1:7 and in the piety the brotherly kindness, and in the brotherly kindness the love; 1:8 for these things being to you and abounding, do make [you] neither inert nor unfruitful in regard to the acknowledging of our Lord Jesus Christ, 1:9 for he with whom these things are not present is blind, dim-sighted, having become forgetful of the cleansing of his old sins; 1:10 wherefore, the rather, brethren, be diligent to make stedfast your calling and choice, for these things doing, you may never stumble, 1:11 for so, richly shall be superadded to you the entrance into the age-during reign of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Jesus shall reign where e're the sun doth it's successive journeys run! Proverbs: 3:5 Trust unto Jehovah with all thy heart, And unto thine own understanding lean not. 3:6 In all thy ways know thou Him, And He doth make straight thy paths. 3:7 Be not wise in thine own eyes, Fear Jehovah, and turn aside from evil. 3:8 Healing it is to thy navel, And moistening to thy bones. 3:9 Honour Jehovah from thy substance, And from the beginning of all thine increase; 3:10 And filled are thy barns [with] plenty, And [with] new wine thy presses break forth. 3:11 Chastisement of Jehovah, my son, despise not, And be not vexed with His reproof, 3:12 For whom Jehovah loveth He reproveth, Even as a father the son He is pleased with. It's a choice. It's from the gut. Acknowledging Jesus inside. Even when you are in your supervisor's office. Jesus is Lord. He has Authority. If a spirit does not acknowledge Him, they are destructive, not creative. Love never fails. Against such there is no law. Humility. There were some people visitng USMC chat. They supposed the prime objective of the Marines was to blow everything and anything up. Actually, The Armed Forces keep the Peace, and that can be explosive. Jesus said he came not to bring Peace, but a sword. He told Peter to put up his sword, (lest his sword should be rendered ineffective?) He already had one. The word of God is the sword of the Spirit. Jesus is the word of God. Revelation 2:16-17 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it. Have a good day. Even in mindless activities, and even if you've had a pet indulgence: if we let Jesus in and acknowledge him, His power will melt it away..... and He will remain. Hallelu Jah Amen. Jesus Christ is Lord! With Love in Christ, Robert. >Lord use us to your Glory in Jesus' name Amen |
